Let's Celebrate Baby

We have had lots of babies born within the last few months - with one more soon to come - in our extended family.  Lots more cousins to add to the family on both sides.  Here are two different cards I created for my sister-in-law, Lisa.  The first was for her baby shower which had a black and pink theme.

The round sentiment stamp came with my SP Monthly Kit Club for June and the "It's a Girl" sentiment is from the SP Hello World! Baby Announcement Builder stamp set.  The circles are cut with Spellbinders dies and white gel pen stitch marks finish off the card.

The second is a card I created to welcome her beautiful bundle of joy, Baby Chloe, who arrived one week early on July 29th.  It's sad to say, but we still have to put this card in the mail and send it to her in Canada.

I got the idea for this card from a pin I found on Pinterest.  Too cute!!

The original white satin flowers were colored with Copics and secured to the card with Helmar's All Purpose Craft Glue.  The bib itself was cut with Spellbinders dies and the embossed layer was inked with Worn Lipstick distress ink.  The sentiment is from an SP&Co stamp set.

Here's another close-up showing the unique shape and dimension of this card.

I hope you enjoyed these cards.  It was lots of fun putting them together.  It feels great to finally share these with you.
