Christmas Star - LOTV Monthly Challenge

Today I want to share a flip-it card I created using the adorable Lili of the Valley Christmas Star image.  I colored her with Copics, added some ice Stickles to the snow flakes and glossy accents to the large star tree topper.

While I was waiting for my Sizzix flip-it die to arrive from The Stamps of Life, I came across an awesome card with a great video tutorial on Pinterest.  It was so simple to make too!

This is an interactive card.  When you open it, the circle flips around to reveal something different on the inside.  Since the shimmery green cardstock base is embossed with snowflakes, I only used red and white striped washi tape and clear rhinestones for additional interest.  The sentiment is also raised up with pop-dots. Trust me... the photos don't do this card justice!  I wish you could see it in person.

Here's a view of the inside:

I was inspired to make a Christmas card for my entry in Lili of the Valley's monthly challenge.  The theme for August is Make It Festive in honor of some recent Christmas stamps that were released.

I'm also entering this card in these additional Christmas challenges:
