Summer Church

Here's the first card I created using my new LOTV stamp, Summer Church. Wouldn't this image be perfect for a wedding card?

The image is stamped on Cryogen White with Tuxedo Memento Black and then die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 22.  The pink mat is also cut and embossed with the next largest die.

Instead of including a sentiment on the front of the card, I focused on the image itself and added a beautiful white bow from my stash of ribbon.  I just love how simple this card looks.  The inside was left blank so it could be used for any occasion.

The image is colored with Copics: YG63/67, G20/21/24, C00/1/3/5, E31/35/41/42, BG02/05, Y21/23, and R81/83.

I added Cotton Candy and Waterfall Stickles and gold liquid pearls to the flowers and butterflies. White gel pen stitch marks finish off the perimeter.  Pop dots give the image added dimension.

Check it out... and as always, thanks for stopping by!

  1. This card is just beautiful! I love the layered look with the card stock & the white bow was just the right touch. I think the shading you did was what really made this card a winner though!
