Believe in your Dreams
My husband, Scott, is an avid golfer so when I saw the Lili of the Valley Playing Golf stamp, how could I resist? He is too cute for words! When I first colored the image, the cardstock got wrinkled and I didn't think I would be able to use it --- I did after all color him to practice with my Copics. He didn't actually come to life until... I played with my distress inks for the first time last night.
I love how this card came out! The distressed edges give the card dimension and a more masculine feel, I think. I am super happy that Faded Jeans, Shabby Shutters, and Vintage Photo distress inks compliment the Copics I used on the image. I used clear embossing powder to resist emboss the Decorative Diamond background from SP&Co. The LOTV Dreamy Days Circular Sentiment and edges are inked with Vintage Photo.
Copics:
C00, C1, C3, C5, C7, G20, YG63, YG67, B91, B93, B97, E00, E11, R20, E53, E55, E57
So... I am surprising my husband with this card tonight when he returns from his latest golf endeavor in Myrtle Beach. Hopefully, he has a wonderful job opportunity ahead.
He was only gone two nights, but I have to say it's noticeably different when he isn't here. We will all be happy when he gets back!
Thanks for stopping by!!
