So Glad to Be Friends
I made this card to send to my good friend, Diane, who has leant a listening ear more than a few times over the last couple of weeks. I thought she would appreciate getting this card in the mail as a surprise.
Not only did it give me a chance to practice with my Copics, but I also tried out my newest stamp from SP&Company, the Gill Roberts Collection Friends Forever set.
To add some dimension (without making it too difficult to mail), I used two small Flamingo pink buttons and added white gel pen stitch marks to frame out the image.

Lately, I haven't been using as many embellishments on my cards. That's mostly because I intended to put these cards through the mail. I'm always worried that they're going to be eaten up by machinery at the Post Office.
Slowly chipping away at my Beginner Copics class through Color Me Creative Classroom, I've also tried to spend time on my coloring technique.
It feels great to finally update my site. Being sick over the last week really wiped me out and it put me behind on sharing my more recent projects.
