An Appreciation for Teachers & Educators

My former co-workers at the School of Education at the College of William and Mary kindly invited me to attend a celebratory lunch yesterday for the Dean (and my former supervisor) who is stepping down from the deanship this academic year.  They asked me to create this card for everyone to sign.  Not only was I more than happy to do it, but it was nice making this card in honor of her to share in our appreciation for everything she has done for the School of Education.  She is truly a remarkable person!

I thought the paper was too cute with the owl sitting there on the branch of the apple tree full of letters.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out --- with the banners and the color combination.

Not only was this card perfect for this particular occasion, but it could easily work well for other teachers and educators out there.  Coincidentally, next week also happens to be Teacher Appreciation Week!
